Primary Supply Teacher – KS1 or KS2

Engage Education are currently recruiting Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools. We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable teachers who are confident teaching either KS1 or KS2 and are looking for flexible working opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers who are seeking varied classroom experience, flexible working patterns, or a better work-life balance.

About the role

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons in line with school planning and policies. Assignments may vary from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements depending on your availability and school requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS1 or KS2

• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies

• Assessing pupil understanding and providing feedback where required

• Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development

• Working collaboratively with teaching and support staff

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

About you

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching within KS1 or KS2

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Flexible, reliable and confident adapting to new school settings

• Passionate about supporting children’s learning and progress
