Primary Supply Teacher – KS1 or KS2 – Brighton
Engage Education are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of friendly and supportive primary schools in Brighton. We are looking for confident practitioners who are comfortable teaching in either KS1 or KS2 and are interested in flexible working opportunities.
This role is ideal for experienced teachers and ECTs who are looking to broaden their classroom experience, gain exposure to different school settings, or achieve a better work-life balance.
About the role
As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons in line with school planning and policies. Assignments may vary from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements, depending on both school requirements and your availability.
Key responsibilities include:
Teaching pre-planned lessons across KS1 or KS2
Creating a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment
Managing behaviour effectively in line with school policies
Assessing pupil understanding and providing feedback where appropriate
Working collaboratively with staff to support pupil achievement
Opportunities are available on both a full-time and part-time basis.
About you
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within KS1 or KS2
Strong classroom management and organisational skills
Flexible and confident adapting to new school environments
Committed to supporting children’s academic and personal development
