PPA Cover Teacher – Watford

Contract: Part-time / Full-time | Term-time only

Salary: MPS/UPS or competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a confident, flexible and reliable PPA Cover Teacher to work across a welcoming primary school in Watford. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher who enjoys variety and delivering high-quality lessons across different year groups.

The Role

As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will:

• Provide cover for class teachers during PPA time

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

• Maintain a positive, well-managed and inclusive learning environment

• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners

• Follow school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour procedures

• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Provide feedback to class teachers and senior leaders

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold QTS

• Have experience teaching in UK primary schools

• Be confident delivering lessons across multiple year groups

• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Be organised, adaptable and professional

• Communicate effectively with pupils and staff
