About the role:

Engage Education is currently working with a mainstream Secondary school in Barking & Dagenham that is seeking an experienced Spanish Teacher or Tutor to work across KS4 creating small group interventions for their year 11 pupils taking their Spanish GCSEs this academic year.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering small group interventions for KS4 Spanish classes and must have experience teaching the UK curriculum as well as having strong English speaking skills.

This has been a challenging time for many of the school's pupils and they are looking for an inspiring teacher to help the team get back on track!

About the School:

This full-time role is based in Barking & Dagenham school with a vibrant and progressive staff body and school culture. The school caters for many vulnerable young adults from East London and you will need to have a strong classroom presence and understanding of working with challenging students.

The ideal candidate:

• A qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent qualifications
• Confidence in teaching KS4 Spanish lessons to all abilities
• Good behaviour management skills
• Experience delivering structured intervention programs with a focus on not only GCSE success but building pupils' confidence.
