Nursery Assistant Required – Wimbledon

About the role:

We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to work in a fantastic Nursery/Primary School setting in Wimbledon, starting from February half-term.

Our team has built a strong reputation locally, and we’re looking for a high-quality Nursery Assistant who can make a real impact on children’s early development, confidence, and learning.

Your duties may include:

• Supporting children in line with the EYFS framework

• Working with small groups on early language, phonics, and play-based learning

• Providing 1:1 support where required

• Assisting with routines such as toileting, snack time, and settling children into the day

• Supporting the class team with learning activities and observations

The ideal applicant will have:

• Experience working with Nursery-aged children (nursery, school, or early years setting)

• A genuine passion for early years education

• A proactive, caring approach and strong communication skills

• A Level 2 or Level 3 early years/support staff qualification (preferred)
