Maths Teacher Required for Secondary School in Leatherhead

Are you a qualified Maths teacher? Are you a strong-willed and confident Maths Teacher (ECTs are welcome!) who has a record of 'Good' or better classroom practice and an understanding of the value of high expectations?

We are working with a supportive and welcoming school in Leatherhead, who are seeking a Maths  Teacher to start in September 2023.

About the role

The successful applicant will be joining a team of experienced teachers within a wonderful department. You will be working collaboratively with students to deliver outstanding lessons. If you are an ECT, you will be enrolled onto a fantastic induction programme and benefit from the dynamic leadership of the SLT who are known for driving the school’s expectations. 

This is an outstanding opportunity for a teacher with vision, energy and talent to join a thriving, successful and oversubscribed, 11-16, mixed, community school with an excellent reputation, set in an enviable location at the foot of the beautiful South Downs, just north of Brighton.

This is a full-time, long-term role for a qualified teacher who can fully commit to joining a school with a clear vision and strong ethos.

About you

• A qualified teacher with a formal teaching qualification 
• Confident teaching Maths subject at Key Stage 3 and 4 to a range of abilities
• A passion for your subject and education in general
• A desire to work as a team with the rest of the department and the school
