Learning Support Assistant (SEND) – Watford

Contract: Term-time only

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are recruiting a SEND Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a primary school in Watford.

The Role

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND

• Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or speech & language needs

• Implementing strategies set by the class teacher and SENCO

• Promoting independence, emotional regulation and positive behaviour

• Supporting learning across the curriculum

• Working closely with staff and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience supporting children with SEND (preferred)

• Calm, patient and resilient

• Confident following guidance and using initiative

• Passionate about inclusive education
