Learning Support Assistant

Individual Needs Assistant Needed for large Complex Needs School in Bexhill

We are looking for a confident individual who has experience supporting children or young adults with a range of Complex Needs, and some challenges behaviours.

This role will involve supporting a young adult, 16 +, who has a range of learning needs, including communication barriers and challenging behaviour.

The school are looking for someone who is calm, but who can confidently step up and provide support for this child. Get to know their needs, and individually support them to promote their development and positive behaviour.

About the role

• Implement individualised learning activities to support their needs

• Be intuitive with the child’s needs, and adapt daily routines to suit emotions.

• Full time position – 8.30am – 4pm (Fri – early finish – 2pm)

• Work within a supportive team environment

• Option for further training alongside job role

• Access to our SEND training course; over 200+ Modules (Phonics, SEND, Classroom practice etc, Supporting additional needs)
