About the role:

The school is ideally looking for a year 6 teacher that can support year 7’s in their transition into secondary school and help students close to progress gap

You’ll be working as an English and Maths Intervention teacher at a goodrated school in Barnet. The school is looking for a teacher who is experienced in delivering targeted interventions at KS2 or KS3. Applications from candidates with experience delivering KS2 English and Maths are particularly welcome, as the school is focused on bridging the gap for its new Year 7 intake.

About you:

• An experienced teacher with QTS

• Demonstrable history of teaching to a high standard

• Experience delivering targeted interventions in English and Maths

• Enthusiasm and creativity when delivering lessons to students of all ages and abilities

• Proven experience of developing teaching & learning within an English or Maths department
