About the role:

At Engage Education, we’re currently looking for a unique Teacher to work full-time at a successful, forward-thinking primary school in Staplecross to start as soon as possible.

The school’s vision is to ‘learn together, look after each other and work to achieve our very best’ which underpins all that is done, both in school and within the community, which plays a fundamental role in providing the children with an enriching environment. 

Despite the school being originally opened in 1845, it has largely been modernised to reflect the growing need of the children; it now features additional classrooms, welcoming gardens and a central library which provides an abundance of enrichment for all. . The school reflects a Methodist ethos and applies the ‘John Wesley Rule’ to promote global and local citizenship throughout school life.

Wellbeing is central to this school, for children and staff alike and the smaller class sizes emulate this belief and assist in fostering positive relations through effective communication. To support the children of Staplecross and the surrounding areas the children have access to yoga, positive psychology practices, daily exercise and extra-curricular activities which promote fun, high aspirations and connections.

The ideal applicant will be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS
• Experienced in teaching KS1 children
• Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
• An outstanding teacher with a love of children and teaching
• Able to inspire and innovate in the classroom
