The Role

As a KS1 Class Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative and purposeful lessons across the KS1 curriculum, including phonics, reading, writing and maths

• Create a supportive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where all pupils thrive

• Assess pupils’ learning accurately and use assessment to inform planning and next steps

• Promote positive behaviour and well-being in line with the school’s ethos

• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

• Contribute to school life through participation in assemblies, events and teamwork

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds QTS (Early Career Teachers welcomed)

• Has experience teaching in EYFS/KS1 or KS1 settings

• Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, especially phonics and early maths

• Has strong classroom and behaviour-management skills

• Communicates effectively with children, parents and staff

• Is reflective, adaptable and committed to professional growth

• Inspires curiosity and confidence in every learner
