Salary: £17,961 (Pro Rata)

Engage Education are working in partnership with an outstanding secondary school in Seaford to recruit an Inclusion Support Practitioner specialising in Cognition & Learning.

This is a permanent, part-time opportunity for a committed and proactive individual who is passionate about supporting vulnerable learners and delivering targeted literacy and numeracy interventions.

About the Role

As an Inclusion Support Practitioner, you will support the educational, social and emotional development of students, particularly those with SEND and Cognition & Learning needs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and setting individualised targets
• Creating and implementing personalised support plans
• Delivering specialist literacy and numeracy interventions
• Supporting Key Stage 3 learners through a structured curriculum programme
• Providing support for Entry Level and Functional Skills at Key Stage 4
• Monitoring and reviewing student progress
• Delivering interventions in class, in withdrawal groups and during targeted sessions before school, lunchtime and after school
• Working closely with subject departments and the wider Inclusion team

About You

• Experience supporting students with SEND, particularly Cognition & Learning needs
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Experience delivering targeted interventions and tracking impact
• Confident supporting students both in and out of the classroom
• Patient, resilient and committed to inclusive education
• Strong organisational and communication skills
