Salary:£95 – £105 (Daily)

We are seeking a confident, motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Watford. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant ready to take on greater responsibility and play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver learning activities to individuals, small groups and whole classes

• Provide PPA cover where required

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

• Assist with planning, assessment and tracking pupil progress

• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and senior leaders

• Support classroom organisation and resource preparation

• Uphold safeguarding and health & safety policies

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold HLTA status or have equivalent experience

• Have strong experience in a primary school setting

• Be confident leading learning independently

• Demonstrate effective behaviour management strategies

• Be organised, proactive and adaptable

• Communicate effectively with pupils, staff and parents

• Be committed to inclusive education and pupil progress
