We are currently working with an ambitious and thriving primary school in Wimbledon who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.

About the role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment. You will be working across KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils to raise attainment and build confidence in their learning.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 support and working with small groups of pupils

• Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging lessons

• Supporting pupils with their educational and behavioural development

• Preparing classroom resources and supporting classroom organisation

• Providing feedback to teachers on pupil progress

• Supporting extracurricular activities and intervention sessions where required

This role is ideal for graduates considering teacher training in the future and looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a primary setting.

The ideal candidate:

• A degree in any subject

• A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners

• Strong numeracy and literacy skills

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Proactive, adaptable and willing to take initiative

Previous experience working with children (in schools, tutoring, mentoring, sports coaching, or youth work) is desirable but not essential.
