Are you passionate about Geography and eager to inspire students to explore the world around them? We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join our vibrant Humanities department and deliver engaging lessons that encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and global awareness.
The Role:
- Teach Geography across [KS3/KS4/KS5], delivering exciting lessons on topics such as physical landscapes, human geography, and environmental issues.
- Plan and deliver lessons that develop students’ understanding of geographical concepts, skills, and fieldwork techniques.
- Use interactive teaching methods, including technology and real-world case studies, to bring Geography to life.
- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic achievement.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as Geography clubs, field trips, and eco-projects.
The Ideal Candidate:
✔ Holds a degree in Geography or a related subject, along with a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
✔ Experience teaching Geography at [KS3/KS4/KS5] level.
✔ Passionate about promoting environmental awareness and global citizenship.
✔ Skilled in delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
