Exam Invigilator

We are currently recruiting reliable and professional exam support staff to work across a number of secondary schools in the London Borough of Camden.

Due to increased demand during examination seasons, we are seeking to appoint:

• Exam Invigilators

• Scribes

• Readers and Exam Support Assistants

These roles are required during GCSE and A Level examination periods, as well as for internal mock examinations throughout the academic year. This is seasonal, flexible work that suits individuals seeking part-time or occasional employment.

Key Responsibilities may include:

• Supervising students during examinations in line with JCQ regulations

• Ensuring examination conditions are maintained at all times

• Acting as a scribe or reader for students with access arrangements, where appropriate

• Distributing and collecting examination papers and materials

• Reporting any irregularities to the lead invigilator or examinations officer

We are looking for individuals who:

• Are punctual, calm and highly reliable

• Can follow instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality

• Are comfortable working in a school environment

• Have strong attention to detail

• Are able to support students in a professional and reassuring manner

Previous experience as an exam invigilator or scribe is desirable but not essential, as training and guidance will be provided.

All roles are subject to safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS, and satisfactory references.
