English Teacher Required for Secondary School in Chichester

About the role

We are working with the school to recruit a teacher who can commit to the position for the entirety of the academic year (and beyond!), teaching KS3 to KS4. This is a long-term position starting in September 2023.

It’s an exciting time to join this large school which was most recently rated Good with Outstanding features. The school is focused on providing the highest quality teaching and learning, and all members of staff are expected to strive for excellence in everything they do. The students consistently attain high standards and their behaviour in lessons and around the school is good. They offer a large variety of subjects at GCSE and A Level and endeavour to be innovative and forward thinking across all areas of the curriculum. 

The school is easiest to access by car, however they have a wide network of informal car shares, and also offer lovely views of the Sussex countryside! There is a strong community and support network between colleagues and departments.

• QTS with an English specialism
• Experience teaching English at KS3 to KS4 in a secondary school
• Proven background of high pupil progress
• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
