About the role
We are working with the school to recruit a talented Drama Teacher to cover maternity leave. The successful candidate will commit for the full duration of the cover, delivering engaging and creative Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).

This is a long-term maternity cover position starting in Marchwith the potential for extension depending on school needs.

The school is committed to providing high-quality education and fostering creativity, confidence and performance skills in its students. Staff are expected to maintain high standards, inspire learners and contribute positively to the wider school community.

About you

• QTS with a Drama or Performing Arts specialism
• Experience teaching Drama at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
• Strong classroom management and the ability to engage students creatively
• Experience directing productions, performances or extracurricular drama (desirable)
• A passion for building students’ confidence and expressive skills
• Committed to contributing to the wider life of the school
