Engage Education are currently working with a large secondary school in Brentwood who are looking for a Teacher of Sociology to join their School this September.

The successful applicant will be expected to lead inspirational lessons to all pupils and effectively manage a classroom.

The incoming Sociology Teacher will be expected to deliver dynamic lessons that stretch their classes and encourage a passion for the subject.

The school requires the ideal candidate to have experience in teaching Sociology up to A-Level. Experience teaching Sociology to an equivalent GCSE level in another country will be taken into consideration.

You must:

  • Hold QTS
  • Have experience delivering Sociology across the full age, gender and ability range, in a secondary school
  • Have a proven background of developing teaching and learning o a high standard

You will be joining a supportive staff team, working towards rising student attainment through outstanding teaching and learning. As a member of this school, you can expect to receive ongoing support and training.
