Secondary Cover Supervisor Needed – Woking

At Engage, we’ve specialised in finding and supporting cover supervisors and supply teachers for schools across the UK for over 10 years.

As such, we’ve now built fantastic relationships with schools in and around the area of Woking and we’re regularly looking to increase the pool of teachers we can offer to the area as the demand continues to grow.

If you’re a creative and fun-loving supply teacher looking to provide long- or short-term supply work in Surrey, get in touch as we’d love to hear from you.

Rates of pay vary depending on role but are typically around £90-£120 per day.

These positions will start as soon as possible.

About the Role:

You will be leading lessons and covering in the absence of class teachers for varying subjects at a good Ofsted-rated school near Woking. This school is all about innovation and creating a well-balanced learning environment for the students.

You will receive training provided by the school and Engage Education and will be a part of a close and dynamic team. This role has very little planning and marking. This is a good opportunity to work at an OFSTED ‘Good’ school that is very supportive and whose core principles are to challenge, evolve and nurture pupils.

If you are passionate about education and the growth within each student’s learning environment this is the role for you!

Why Choose Engage Education as your Supply Agency?

  • Engage Education also has an exclusive partnership with Creative Education which offers over 200 CPD courses for teachers and support staff. Membership with Creative Education is usually via a paid monthly subscription, but as an Engage candidate, you’ll get forever access to all of their current and future content for free.

  • We put our teachers first – with high levels of service to our teachers and ongoing support and training when you’re in a role, our teachers are the happiest.

  • We are a widely recognised and award-winning education recruitment company

  • We offer an excellent ‘refer a friend’ scheme where you can earn a £50 Amazon voucher for each referral that completes 5 days of work.

  • We pay all our teachers in line with the Agency Worker Regulations, meaning you will be paid equally to a permanent employee

  • We ensure that you will have your own dedicated consultant who can provide ongoing support and assistance as and when you need it

About You:

  • Experience working with students aged 11-16

  • Flexibility to work on different subjects

  • Confident managing behaviour

  • An ability to build rapport with students

  • Have a fun but firm presence

  • An interest in education

We welcome applications from candidates with any level of experience, although previous experience of working with students with challenging behaviour will be an advantage. If you are an aspiring teacher, or an experienced cover supervisor looking for a position, this opportunity could be ideal for you. This role could also suit a candidate with experience of working as a Youth Worker or Behaviour Mentor.

How to Apply:
