Cover Supervisor – Prestigious Secondary & Performing Arts School

We are delighted to be recruiting a Cover Supervisor for a high-performing, prestigious Secondary and Performing Arts School in Croydon, renowned for its excellent student behaviour, inspiring creative culture, and warm, inclusive ethos.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will lead lessons in the absence of class teachers across a range of subjects, maintaining the school’s consistently high standards of behaviour, engagement, and academic focus.

With very little planning or marking required, this role allows you to focus on delivering engaging lessons, supporting students, and contributing positively to the wider school community. You will receive full training and ongoing support as part of a dynamic and collaborative staff team.

About You

We are seeking someone who:

• Has experience working with young people aged 11–16

• Is confident, calm, and consistent in managing classroom behaviour

• Can build strong rapport with students

• Is flexible and happy to cover a variety of subjects

• Has a fun but firm classroom presence

• Demonstrates a genuine passion for education
