Behaviour Support Assistant position at a Secondary School in Bradford.
About the role:
This Behaviour Support Assistant role is based in an ambitious Secondary School in Bradford (BD3) They are looking to recruit an enthusiastic graduate or someone with relative teaching assistant experience for the role immediately.
This role is to support students across schol with SEMH and Behavioural needs from Year 7 – Year 11. This role will involve supporting students on a one-to-one basis as well as working with students in small groups.
The role is to support pupils with their Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs as well as to manage their disruptive behaviour in school and support them with promoting positive behaviour.
Your Role:
- Assisting in the delivery of effective teaching on a one-to-one basis
- Working with other support staff to engage pupils in sensory work
- Preparing classroom resources
- Providing feedback to teachers and parents
