Autism Teaching Assistant – Enfield

We are working with a school in Enfield, seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with SEND pupils with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties and Physical Disabilities.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to complete all day-to-day classroom activities and maintain continuous routines for pupils. In addition, you will be helping children hit their daily targets and even longer projects such as their short and long-term goals.

Pay:

• £75 – £95 per day
• Weekly payments (Term Time only)
• PAYE or Umbrella Options

The Position:

• One to one and general class support with students with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, Physical Disabilities, SEMH and ADHD.
• Some pupils will have particular struggles with social and emotional difficulties and some mental health trauma.
• Students with; Autism, SEMH, Learning difficulties and Anxiety
• 8:30am – 16:00pm – Monday through to Friday (Term time only)
• Immediate start

Applicant Requirements:

• Experience supporting students with Autism and with a particular skillset working with therapy in some kind of form. 
• If you are a Psychology Graduate or someone who has provided counseling this could be the perfect role for you.
• Ideally have experience working with children in a school setting – SEMH/Trauma/Autism/Therapy-related work
• Must have a creative and positive mindset and want to make an impact in pupils educational and personal development
