Autism Teacher – Required for SEN Primary School – September 2023 – July 2024

Working as a Special Needs Teacher, each day will be a new challenge and different from one to the other. The nature of working with children and young people with Special Needs pupils and those with Learning Disabilities.

We’re currently looking for multiple SEN teachers to work across a number of Special Needs schools in West London.

About the role:

You will need to be an experienced Teacher, who has supported and taught pupils with varying levels of complexity and ability. It is vital that the appointed teacher is able to be flexible and adapt their teaching to individual students with DLD.

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Ability to teach across the entire school and all primary phases and familiar with SEND teaching techniques
• You may be working with school therapy teams and external agencies in order to best support your pupils
• Pupils with complex language barriers, Autism, SLD, SEMH and other needs
• Familiarity of the SEND code and teaching practice
• Proficient literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to form excellent relationships and rapport with pupils
• June 2023 – July 2024 (Maternity Cover)
• Main Teacher Payscales (plus SEN points)
