Autism Support Worker needed for SEN School in Leeds

 At Engage, we know that a school runs on quality support staff. We’ve spent over a decade building strong relationships with schools in Leeds and we’re now looking to increase our pool of support workers we can offer to these great schools. We have a variety of Teaching Assistant positions available, to start immediately.

I am working with a good school in Leeds with great public transport links to the school from the centre. The role is for an experienced SEN teaching assistant who has worked with children with additional needs for at least 3 months.

This is a full time temporary position running until July 2022, with a possibility of a permanent contract in school.

About the role:

• Full-time positions available
• Small group work and intervention support responsibilities
• 1:1 support for special needs and lower ability pupils
• Supporting students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Specific Learning Difficulties, EBD and SEMH
• Supporting students with challenging behaviour
