• Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Art and Design, covering various media and techniques.
• Encourage students to explore their creativity and express themselves through different art forms.
• Provide constructive feedback and assessment to support students’ growth and improvement.
• Organize and contribute to exhibitions and showcases of students’ artwork.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments to foster a well-rounded approach to creativity in the school.
• Support students in their GCSE and A-level Art coursework, ensuring they reach their full potential.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified Art Teacher with a passion for nurturing creativity and artistic talent.
• A strong portfolio of knowledge in various artistic techniques, styles, and media.
• The ability to inspire and motivate students to explore and develop their artistic abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A positive, proactive, and adaptable approach to teaching.
• Experience in delivering GCSE and A-level Art is desirable, but not essential.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development.
