I am the SEND Leader for the Leeds Branch and our team covers the North, West and South Yorkshire region. I have worked in the recruitment sector for 10 years.
Having previously worked as a support worker for school leavers with learning disabilities and mental health issues, I particularly appreciate understanding the specific needs of the schools I collaborate with. This allows me to effectively match them with staff members with the necessary skills and experience for their environments. Furthermore, I find it rewarding to help health and social care workers, who may not have previously considered opportunities within educational settings, to realise their potential to work with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, ultimately assisting them in finding fulfilling roles.
I am a proud father of two children and also share my home with two rather contrasting canine companions: a yellow Labrador and a yellow pug. Outside of work and family commitments, which often involve taking my son and daughter to their football matches and walking the dogs, I am also a keen marathon runner.
