Jessica Hayton

I am a Primary Education Consultant at Engage Education, specifically focusing on supplying Primary School Teachers, TA’s and SEN support staff within Primary Schools in Bradford.  I am an EYFS and KS1 Primary School teacher with a background in Teaching in schools, Private Nurseries and Pre-School Management. I have just joined Engage Education as a consultant which is a completely new challenge for me, but I feel like my background and passion for education makes me a perfect fit for me to be able to spot and recruit quality Teachers/TA’s for Primary Schools across Bradford!

What I loved about teaching was being able to make a difference to the lives of young children at the very start of their schooling lives and being able to create strong relationships with my children and their families. I feel like this quality in myself will help and support candidates in really finding out about what it means to work in a school – as well as being able to provide advice or guidance to help them be the best they can be!

In 2020 I graduated as a Primary School Teacher with a specialism in Early Years and KS1. Before I secured my first teaching role, I decided to use my specialism and work my way up the career ladder by working as a Pre-School manager in one of my local Pre-Schools which helped me gain wider experience in leadership!

In my free time I love spending time with my family and going on country walks or hikes with my partner where we can take in some beautiful scenery!
