Abigail Horne

Hi I’m Abigail, I’m a Senior Education Consultant here at Engage Education working with primary and secondary schools in the Kirklees area. I have been in education recruitment since 2020, I started as an apprentice and worked my way up to senior!

I love working with mainstream schools because the day-to-day rush of secondary keeps it exciting, but there are also high volumes of SEN requirements in primary schools so I get a real feel-good factor from supporting this. The best of both worlds!

A little bit about myself, I went to boarding school & have moved house 22 times as an Army kid, so I’m very used to throwing myself into the deep end to get to know people and love and thrive in change – perfect for recruitment where no 2 days are the same and we work off of building relationships!
