Working with Unity Schools Partnership on Supply Clouds

Unity Schools Partnership is a family of secondary, primary and special schools located mainly in Suffolk, and also on the Essex and Cambridgeshire borders as well as Romford in East London.

The trust was created when Samual Ward school in Suffolk converted to an academy in 2010 and became a MAT with the addition of the new free special school, Churchill School and its first sponsor-led primary academy, Westfield Primary Academy.

Between 2014 and 2017 the MAT experienced a period of rapid expansion. Many academies joined the Unity Schools Partnership through conversion or by being sponsor-led. There are currently 31 schools within the Unity Schools Partnership.

We’ve been working with some of the schools within this framework since 2018 and have since signed into an agreement with them on the Supply Clouds platform.

Supply Clouds for schools

Supply Clouds is an innovative booking technology that’s changing the way people in education work. The platform is accessible for schools via a dashboard and an app for teachers – streamlining the way schools and Trusts hire teachers and support staff for supply work. Supply Clouds allows MATs to work with their approved agency while maintaining autonomy. You can find out more about Supply Clouds here.

Take away the stress of hiring supply teachers by letting the Supply Clouds dashboard do the work! Use the platform to:

  • Oversee all academies’ spending
  • Dashboard analysis of spending
  • Save money through efficiency
  • Understand how your schools are operating
  • Spot opportunities to improve
